1. What do you wear to bed? A tank top and my hubby’s boxers.
2. Do you smoke when no one is watching? Never. Premature aging of the skin – need I say more? Oh, and lung cancer.
3. Tell us about the last time you got arrested? I think it involved the fashion police and really big (and unattractive) hair in middle school. The travesty.
4. Do you throw litter out the window of your car? Never. I’m from Texas so I was brain washed at a very young age with the “Don’t Mess With Texas” campaign.
5. What do you do when you’re all alone at home? Spoon with my dog on the couch while watching TV.
6. What is your biggest vice? Eating the junkiest of junk food, like beer and hot wings.
7. Have you ever been in a physical fight? Yes, I physically have to fight myself from teasing my hair too big.
8. Have you ever flirted (or more!) with the opposite sex to get a job? No, but I did flirt with a lot of students the year I ran for middle school cheerleader. It didn’t work. I’m glad I learned that lesson at a young age.
9. If you had $1,000 that you had to spend today on someone else, what would you buy? I’ve seen a lot of sad shoes walking around uptown Charlotte. I’d buy new shoes for everyone, ones where comfort and style can be achieved. Wait, I think I just came up with a new Heels.tv segment.
10. If you could have a magical power, what would it be? I’d be a mirror of hope, that would let everyone see that they can make a positive impact on others with even the smallest of kind gestures.
11. Tell us about a time you lied to cover your own rear. I once thought someone had broken into my house and when the cops came over they said someone had “ransacked the house.” Turns out I just hadn’t closed my front door properly and my house was just a mess with clothes all over the bedroom. The “perp” was me.
12. What do you most like about your appearance? My big Texas hair
13. On what do you spend too much money? Heels and I get a discount.
14. What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done for money? I was a news reporter, enough said.
15. Where would we typically find you on a Saturday night? Kicking up my heels with the ones I love
16. What do you eat more of than anything else? Jalapenos and Avocados. What? I’m Latin.
17. Have you ever broken someone’s heart? Just that one time I did karaoke. That rendition of Baby Got Back tugged at many hearts.
18. What is it that you most dislike? Animal Abuse – my stomach turns just thinking about it.
19. What is the last thing you did that was truly awesome? Helping give away hundreds of shoes to jobless women was just awesome. Some of them had never owned a brand new pair of shoes. It was a small gesture that helped give them a boost of confidence and showed them people care and they weren’t alone in the struggle.
20. What is your biggest regret? I don’t regret, I accept. Life is too short to dwell in the past. I prefer to live in the moment (while wearing very cute shoes.)
