“Oye senorrritaaaa.  Estás looking gooooood…”  And so said the LOCO LIME.  Sexy bastard.

Just opened in January 2010 by the same group that owns Hawthorne’s Pizza, LL brings the salsa back to Central Avenue.  “Olé!”  Snap.  Serving up a family-friendly atmosphere that includes an outside seating area, LL has all the makings of your new Friday night hang out.  The menu items include some standard Mexican dishes such as tacos, burritos and fajitas, but also feature some unique favorites such as Tableside Guacamole, Crab Quesadilla, Camarones ala Diablo (spicy shrimp) and even a full vegetarian menu. And, if you’re in a hurry, check out the “rapido” lunch menu.  Perfectito.

Above all, however, we really love the specials, especially on Monday as it’s Half Price Margarita Day!  This means that you can savor a Spicy Jalepeño ‘Rita all day long for a mere $3 apiece.  Just don’t light a match near your mouth.  Dios mío!  On Tuesdays you will find All You Can Eat Tacos for just $7.50 (limit ten).  How about that for a hangover?  And, as far as your kiddos go, be sure to take them there on Wednesdays since all kids twelve and under eat free.  There’s nothing like free food in a bad economy…
