Light My Fire

feisty mama“BOY!  I’m going to come over there and light a fire under your butt!”  Dang straight you are.  Some people just need a little extra spice.

Thus, introducing the one and only FEISTY MAMA SALSA.  Soooo gooood, so feisty, and so (if you want it to be) spicy.  Back in “the day,” local mom Debra Dickson was hitting the books and the dating scene at Texas A & M.  She met (and later married) a member of the party-prone fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha, and very quickly became know as Queen of Salsa for all of their frantastic fiestas.  Now, two kids and one bulldog (Spike) later, she’s taking her royalty to the shelves.

Launched just this past January, this little jar brings so much more to the table than just delicious goodness…
1)  It has all natural ingredients meaning real tomatoes, no fat, no preservatives and no added sugar.  Um, si senor!
2)  There are three delish spiciness levels to choose from:  Sooooo Hot, Really Sassy and Lil’ Bit Spicy.  Thanks!  We know we are…
3)  This Mama brings a huge batch of humor, as can be witnessed by the shirtless “Mama” on the jar of “Sooooo Hot.”  The Men’s Club will be calling soon.
4)  Bet you didn’t know that the cartoon “Mama” is actually Debra all “cartooned-up!”  Debra, is that ’stache real?  It’d be crazy if it was.
5)  Finally, we can’t forget to mention the hysterical old tyme movie on her home page.  Check out Spike’s (or, Perro Stupido) acting skills.  It’s just plain good fun all around.

You know us… We love humor, we love local, and we obviously love anyone named “Mama.”  So, from one Mama to another, we salute you, Feisty, and thank you for bringing the hot fun back to the table, ’stache and all.

**Feisty Mama will be having a SALSA & CHAMPAGNE TASTING at Blacklion (704-541-1148) in Pineville from 12:00-4:00 NEXT Saturday and Sunday (March 27 and 28) for “What a Girl Wants” weekend!  The Mama herself will be there for a meet and greet and jar signings.  Yum.
