Say Cheese

dee dee cheese strawsYou know those times when you internally beg for everyone to “JUST LEAVE, dang it” so that you can scarf “that one divine” item on the table at warp speed… shoving it in your mouth fists at a time since no one is watching and no one will ever know and it doesn’t count if you can put them all in at one time?  Yeeea, us too.

When we were told to give DEE DEE’S GOURMET CHEESE STRAWS a try, we quickly realized that we would forever need to be veeery careful around these gems.  Made with “expensive, extra-sharp, real biting, fine cheese” by Charlotte resident, Dee Dee Norton, these puppies even had our cheese-hating friend saying, “Umm, these are… mfdald… so good… sdfskng…” (muffled due to excessive scarfing).

Dee Dee started making cheese straws for her friends almost 25 years ago on an old fashioned cookie press, yet after demand grew to over 1,000 pounds during the holiday season, she realized that upgrades needed to be made.  Now fully automated, Dee Dee has JUST LAUNCHED her new Web site and is ready to conquer the world.  Next stop, Oprah’s house!  You go, sister.

We sense many closet feasts ahead.  Available at the Buttercup (343 Providence Road) or online.  You can even personalize the gift tins, so great for gifts.
