There is a girl.  Her name is Frenchie.  She lives in Cola.  She rocks our world.

Frenchie Bunch is her name and after only six years in business, this southern beauty has become the “It” girl for all things custom sewn.  FRENCHIE’S SKIRTS is located in the heart of Columbia, SC’s shopping district and offers the absolute best of the best when it comes to custom skirts, wedding dresses, suits, prom dresses and yes, even debutant dresses for the lucky ones… ummm.  After having attended The University of the South, Sewanee, Frenchie dove into a 9-5er as a paralegal yet, after she took just one sewing class, Miss Bunch realized that sewing was the name of her game.

One of the most unique parts about Frenchie’s is the “Exclusive Fabric by State” policy meaning, if Donna Sue from North Carolina orders a custom skirt made with “Fabric #3,” then no one else from North Carolina can order a garment with that same fabric.  If you get it, then you’ve got it… all by yourself.  Very cool.  We’re supposing policies such as these are part of the reason that her client list includes some famous names you just may know such as Hillary “I Wear the Pants” Clinton and Jenny “I Hate Argentina” Sanford.  Not bad a’tall.

We’re i.n. l.o.v.e. with this fine lady and think she is a true sewing superstar as well as a truly wonderful person.  A word to the wise, however… hustle your bustle down to Cola because Frenchie will be tying the knot this fall and moving to DC!  Congrats “Mrs. Gogos” and may you wear the best fitting wedding dress around.
