SHE’S CRAFTY – Tomorrow (6-10) and Saturday (11-4), Neighborhood Theatre – Grab your “ho, ho, hate last minute crowds” gifts at NoDaRioty. Ninety artists will be on hand and selling paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, stained glass, knits, etc. Not only can you buy great goodies, but you can also meet the artists themselves which, in this world, means a whole heck of a lot. Going.
ADULTS OF THE CORN – Saturday thru September 26, 10:00-6:30 pm – We love this one. The Rural Hill Amazing Maize Maze is opening this weekend for another great year of good clean fun. Should we beware of small children with blenders?

I HEART YOU SMITTY – Every Home Panther’s Game - Partaaay and donate at once. Hit up the 3rd Annual Friends of St. Jude Tailgate at 217 South Church Street (only 3 blocks from the stadium) every game this year and help give back to our community. With your registration, you get admission to every FOSJ Tailgate this season, plus the option to bring one (1) guest per game for $10, unlimited food and drinks (Beer provided by Carolina Premium Beverage and different food sponsors every game), FOSJ t-shirt and koozie, tailgating activities (pregame coverage, corn hole, music, etc.), weekly raffles and attendance prizes, etc. Call the St. Jude office at (704) 554-7710 for more info.
WOOFER – October 23, 6:00pm, The Westin – Well, we’re posting this one early because these puppies (literally) sell out at super speed. The Ties & Tails Gala is one of the most well-attended events in Charlotte and raises money for the Humane Society of Charlotte. AND, if you buy your ticket BEFORE September 15 you can get it at a discounted price of $160 (regular price is $175). There is also a pet fee of $10, but is totally worth it.
